LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

SALARY POSITION

The roles they play are to lead the teams to provide the highest quality service and product on time. They are responsible for creating a personal connection with the client as they design and manage their property. Job activities can range from jobsite management, assisting in the construction of various projects, nursery management, landscape design, customer contact/communication and community outreach. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Screen leads from websites, phone calls, emails, and social media and set up meetings with customers for a design consultation. 

  • Communicate with potential customers about our design process, the company values and mission. 

  • Create a design that reflects the wants and desires of customers or solves an issue that they have on their property.

  • Create an estimate through the collection of material pricing and availability, collaboration with the owner and other management before the bid is presented to ensure all bases are covered. 

  • Present estimates to customers with design and answer any questions they may have.

  • Scheduling project and material with the operations manager and the owner.

  • Presenting the project to the crew and meeting with the crew as needed to ensure the project is going smoothly and communicate with the customer the progress. 

  • When jobs are completed submit final paperwork and any change orders to the owner for billing. 

  • Weekly progress meetings with management and crews.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years in applying project management skills at an expert level.

  • 3+ years of landscape design on U-Vision or Dynascapes or comparable programs.

  • Communication skills and conflict resolution at an expert level with the public and with employees.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, organizational skills, and exceptional initiative.

COMPENSATION
  • $45,000-75,000/year salary.
