Landscape Foreman serves to provide the highest quality service while creating a personal connection with clients and their team. Job activities can range from landscape installs and maintenance, tree care and hardscaping. Landscape Foremans are to bring a positive attitude to work daily and have a passion for creating beauty on our client’s sites.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage 2-3 employees and give direction on-site

• Operate heavier equipment

• Operate a truck and trailer to carry equipment to and from job sites

• Install paver patios, retaining walls, and fire and water features

• Remove weeds and dead plants; prune overgrown limbs and leaves occasionally

• Are able to take instruction from a manager and constructive criticism when necessary and apply

• knowledge

• Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival

• Install new flowers, bushes, plants, and decorative shrubs

• Remove tree limbs, overgrowth, and other hazards when necessary

• Oversee and notify managers of required or possible maintenance repairs to equipment

• Be personable, able to talk with customers if approached and be willing to help if needed

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree or equivalent educational experience

• 3 years of experience in landscaping or lawn care

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must have a clean driving record

• Able to work independently

• Able to work well with others

• Must have experience using heavy equipment, landscape design, and horticulture practices

• Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

COMPENSATION

• $19-25/hour depending on experience
